Check out the cool Ameture Photo Gallerys at American Apparel. Each gallery includes photos from a specific place (ie Kosovo, California, Coney Island), and lots of them have that old-school, 80s, Polaroid-y feel (matches the American Apparel grunge-effect).

Check out the darkened edges on the picture directly above, and of course the obvious red tint to the picture farthest above. These effects are harder than you might think to achieve — in the age of digital pictures errors of light don’t occur in the photo-processing stages (er, since there are none).
