Here are photos featuring the fashion industry’s love of boyish figures and super-skinny women. Fashion’s exclusion of all other sizes is ridiculous. Nonetheless, these photos from The New York Times have been sitting on my desk for weeks, and I just now decided I couldn’t let these bright colors slide by, no matter the size of the model within them. If you know me, you’ll know I sometimes obsessively wear bright colors and often avoid the rule of not wearing too many brights at once (some examples). I really love the boldness of these outfits, and the high-heel and bright sock combo. I have been trying to cultivate my own bright sock & high heel collection for $20 or less a set. I’ve been pretty successful find bright socks at H&M and high heels at Steve & Barry’s, bringing my foot grand total per outfit to about $10.
