Remember back in July when I went laptop-post crazy. I was researching cases because I wanted somewhere light and safe to carry my MacBookPro. Recently, this “9-5 laptop case” has been making its way around the internet, and I think I’d get that monster case if I had a little extra cash.

Anyway, it took me over two months but I finally chose my laptop case. Is it any of the ones I researched? No, of course not! It’s actually an Isaac Mizrahi bag from Target (images from Target.com).

The bag includes a back area with it’s own removable, hot pink laptop case. This case fits perfectly in the back pocket and can even hook into the bag with a small, metal clip so you know that no one will secretly steal your computer as you sleep on the train. (For reference, I have a 15″ MacBook Pro and it fits perfectly! Anything larger won’t make it!)

What I love about this bag:

  • It’s black and professional looking.
  • BUT, it’s got a hot pink interior.
  • It’s gigantic, so you can fit novels in there (including War and Peace or Guns, Germs, & Steel).
  • It can safely carry my computer AND everything else I need to carry.
  • It was marked down at the Target store where I bought it ($10 off).

(By the way, don’t you love Tricia’s poster party posts? Yeah, I’m jealous of her ability to constantly make fabulous pop-reference jokes.)
