GIRL…if you have narrow feet, TOMS be for you!

With all sincerity, TOMS would be perfect for you! They run a bit narrow (more narrow that normal shoes), so if I were you, I would get them in whatever size you normally wear. I’ve had mine for a month now, and they have stretched a little, but not by that much. Maybe I haven’t gone on enough adventures with them! Let me know how your TOMS quest goes!

BB- I knew that Nike had taken over Converse (a Converse-loyal friend informed me a couple of years ago), but I didn’t know about the 3-ply 1-ply thing! Wow. The more you know (shooting star). Gosh. 1-ply metallic sneakers. Good thing I didn’t go that route. What are your feelings on Nike x Cole Haan, though? I have to admit, I’ve been curious to see what the Nike Air Cole Haan shoes are like. For example, when you put them on, do you think that the experience would be like walking on clouds? Would you float up on a cloud, like the little red bull commercial guy? Oh, I wonder these things.

Rachel- I’m sure yours would be lovely! I can’t wait to see them. I was super lucky to get them on sale. Get gold TOMS, and then we can be shoe twins!

I’d love to do a form of “currently obsessed” on my blog as well, though I imagine it will not look quite as pretty as yours does! (No worries, I won’t use the same name or copy the aesthetic style… as if I have the talent to do the latter, anyway!) I may, however, copy you by getting those gorgeous gold glitter TOMS! The price is seriously decent for shoes.

You made the right decision skipping the Converse sneaks. Nike has owned Converse for about 4 or 5 years now and they downgraded from the 3-ply twill that used to make Chucks last nearly forever to a cheap 1-ply twill. I think Nike, as a company, just generally sucks and, now that they’ve made my favorite sneaks suck, they suck even more so I avoid everything with the Converse brand on it.

If the diet coke cupcakes in my fridge weren’t 1.5 weeks old (and slightly firm), I’d go and get you one. I’ll have to remember to save you one, the next time I make them. Which will probably be soon. It IS good. A little more crumbly, but mostly untastable (unless you use coke ZERO. Then, you can taste it.). I’ve tried diet sprite + vegan yellow cake mix. It worked just as well.

I’ll *really* have to try using diet dr. pepper, since it is my favorite diet beverage.

You just put diet coke in the cupcakes? Is that good? ALSO can it be done with Diet Dr. Pepper? And why haven’t you tried this yet?

As a side note, I envy the sparkliness of your shoes – not so much that I want to own then, but in that I wish I was that sparkly all the time.
