- Smart Women Read Between the Lines: A Readers’ Journal ($15, amazon.com) (CONFESSION: I think this is, like so many reader journals, unfortunately wide-ruled.)
- How to Read Literature Like a Professor: A Lively & Entertaining Guide to Reading Between the Lines by Thomas C. Foster ($12, amazon.com) (CONFESSION: Have not read this, but have heard many good things about it, and as a proud former part English major I come pre-packaged with enthusiasm.)
- Conceal: Invisible Bookshelf ($11, organize.com) (CONFESSION: I have posted about this before because it’s so cool! If you stack enough books, it looks like they are just floating on the wall.)
- Bookplates from Tiny Showcase by Ray Fenwick ($5, set of 10) (CONFESSION: My friend gave me these for my Bday. PERFECT GIFT!)
- Recycled Card Catalog Mini-Notebooks by Blue Valentine Press (set of 3, $7, Etsy)
- Shakespeare Hates Your Emo Poetry ($15, Threadless / TypeTees)
- Steven Colbert Natural Canvas Tote Bag ($12, Barnes & Noble) (CONFESSION: I think Tricia has this bag. It’s too funny because Colbert’s head looks just like all of the “writer head totes” they have. Also, as I noted in my Stereotyping Poets post, bookworms need tote bags.)
- Record Bookend by ICK Design ($15, Etsy)
- Personal Library Kit ($25, FredFlare) (CONFESSION: This makes me want to play library.)
- Book Lists: Oprah’s Book Club List, My Penguin’s Set Post (CONFESSION: These are not shown in the image above. Ten makes a much better list than nine.)

I am jealous of those bookplates!
I’d like to get the new Colbert Spider Man comic. To put in my geeky Colbert bag.
I just wanted to let you know that I ADORE your blog. Most of my blogging (and the blogs I read) are about kids, but you guys remind me of my love for other stuff. Like office supplies. Rock on!
I have a #10 for your list : Book Darts. They mark pages or lines without leaving any sticky residue or staining and they come in a neat retro tin.
LOVE #9… how helpful would that have been when I played library as a kid! (or now to make lending books more fun!). My library has moved electronic, and we don’t get to stamp the books anymore. Loss of satisfaction. Thanks for putting this on!
I am suprised you don’t have and bookmarks and book thongs here. I make a full line of each. Please check my site out and add me to your must have list !!!

I was actually trying to hunt down book thongs or book darts for the list! They are perhaps the most obvious things I should have added. And #1 Fan: YES I would have loved these for playing library!
I love helping people out by providing a way for them to praise whatever they want online. So our team have created our own anonymous confessions website, we’d like to invite you all over to confess whatever you want anonymously.
LOL funny but No9 is actually useful.
