Maria, I too write down every single word of the day! I very much enjoy words, and writing things down every few minutes. Poor trees and pens. I must exhaust them.

Recent word of the day that I enjoyed: moue \moo\ - a little grimace; pout. You can visualize it so clearly with the pronunciation and lip movements.

Schadenfreude is NEW to me, but I think I'm in love. Deipnosophist sounds great. I've always liked diaphanous (which has a similar sound profile-?)
1. Lilliputian!: extremely small (Thank you, GREs)
2. MURMURED. I hate cheese too, though. AND funky. How awkward of a word.
3. POOH-BAH: a person holding many public or private offices (Thank you, Word of the Day)
4. I can't remember the last time someone said something nice to me! Womp womp.
5. Lame.
6. Inveigle: to win over by flattering or coaxing.
