Ah! That is so cool!!! I love doing things via text message -- it makes me feel so important. I will Twitter via txt msg from my bed just because I CAN, even though my computer is right here.

a follow-up on why the samsung phone is best - i just realized that you can update google calendar and see your next event (or whole next day of events) from TXT. i swear, now i never need a bberry or an iphone. i guess if you aren't a gcal convert this is less amazing but i LOVE it.

I have heard that I should read PORTONY'S COMPLAINT, but I haven't yet. Perhaps I will get it at the library next. GOODBYE, COLUMBUS is a good start because it's a novella -- only 130 pages or so (there are some other short stories, by other names, in that collection). (Long books intimidate me. And are difficult to hold in bed. I could probably only read something like WAR & PEACE if it were serialized into smaller books.)

ha you WOULD be a texting fan. I LOVE YOUR CURRENT PICKS! Someone has been reading lots! Have you ever read any other Philip Roth books like Portnoy's Complaint? Multiple people have recommended Philip Roth to me, so maybe I should take action and start reading.
