First off, that’s not even a turban – that’s a Hijab. It is a veiling to cover a woman’s face for religious purposes. And, not all muslim women wears it to cover their mouths, most just cover their hair. You need to re-educated yourself and stop watching CNN. This post is 2 years old – you need to update this and stop telling the world how ignorant you are.

This is such a great, simple idea…I admit I was a bit dubious (just a pillowcase?) but the pictures won me over. Now to dive into my thrifted pillowcase fabric stash…thanks for the idea!

This is awesome! I too was obsessed with the AA circle scarf but refused to buy it because (1) American Apparel is a sexist company with a disgusting advertising campaign and (2) I refuse to pay that much for a piece of fabric. Thanks for this brilliant idea!

i think you’re supposed to scrub the skins well prior to eating (regardless if you eat the skin). i saw that on a sticker once.

MANGO UPDATE. For anyone who cares to know, I ate a mango today. I touched the skin, but did not eat OFF of it, and washed my hands promptly. I came out unscathed.

i thought mango skins were edible. you know, fiber. i always eat them. NOW I AM TERRIFIED. wiki has awful pics! the mango currently stationed in my fridge might stay there forever.
