I absolutely love the Penguin Deluxe Classic covers, especially the one for Wuthering Heights. They have these hardcover ones with different patterns and colors, and I want every single one of the books, even though some of them i dont actually like. they’re so awesome.
And I am completely obssessed with True Blood and very much in love with Eric Northman. And I do have to agree that the first season was so much better than the second one. But i love it anyways. Mostly because my love for it first started with the Sookie Stackhouse novels, which are much better and somewhat different, might I add.
But I cannot like Lady Gaga. I just cant. I do think she has a very original sense of style, though.

(1) I LOVE BOOK POSTERS. I don’t understand why Barnes & Noble doesn’t sell the ones they put on their walls.

(2) I’d like to take credit for the little girl doodle, but it’s part of the font, which I should’ve linked to! It’s called Kaileen: http://www.dafont.com/kaileen.font and 6 of the capital letters are these little people doodles.

(3) Amber, I sort of wish now that I’d memorized the presidents to a song.

I learned all of the presidents by memorizing the Animaniacs song in like… 8th grade. I still sing it from time to time, because it is set to the 1812 Overture!

(William Harrison, how’d you phrase, that guy was dead in 30 days!)

I too have just started to like Lady Gaga beyond “Just Dance.” She seems delightfully nutso.

oh dearest maria, you have reminded me once again of one nagging anomaly of my childhood: i *never* learned my presidents. i never had a president unit in elementary school, middle school, or the two high schools i attended. i learned my state capitals, but no presidents.

i didn’t know who lady gaga was until a couple months ago (hey, turns out she’s been around for awhile and i’m just outdated), but i now have both her CDs. she always seemed kind of unsanitary to me, but perhaps i’m an old lady. she IS a good pop star.

MY FRIEND, TAYLOR, OWNS A POSTER OF THAT MOBY DICK PENGUIN CLASSICS BOOK COVER. the end.

i have been tossing around the idea of watching big love for a couple of years…maybe i will make that happen one day.
