Hi, friends. This is a little preview of something that will be featured on Stickers & Donuts next week. No, there isn’t going to be a “Currently Obsessed” edition featuring Nicholas Sparks. Should I receive whinny emails in protest, I will simply recommend that we part ways. Please. I have better taste than that.
I’ve moved to Baltimore. I’ve started grad school. I need Baltimore adventure ideas and amusement, because right now I just have piles of schoolwork and I miss Chicago.
Here’s another clue regarding the above picture: CLUE-CLICK-ME. I would have embedded it (I mean Kevin Spacey’s face would heighten the cool factor of this post by a factor of 20), but I guess the owner has embedding disabled? Dream crushed.

i think the Smithsonian inWashington DC has a showing of Norman Rockwell paintings. That could be fun!
heres a video about it:

Ha! Thanks. When I was in middle school, I painted a Norman Rockwell dog and it was put in the principal’s office.
Oh sweet! Welcome to Bmore! Somethings you might like?: How about the American visionary museum (avam.org)? They always have crazy stuff going on. Also, creative alliance, national dentistry museum, Hampden (my ‘hood!), and Load of Fun!! Yay!
I am so confused about next week.
Loopy- Thanks! I actually know someone who works at AVAM, and I have seen one of the smaller (?) pink poodles? I’ve heard of Creative Alliance, but I haven’t figured out what it exactly is. DOES THE NATIONAL DENTISTRY MUSEUM HAVE TEETH EXTRACTION INSTRUMENTS?! I’ve been to Hampden- I visited Red Tree (like a more amazing version of Anthropologie), and a couple of antique stores.
Maria- A world without confusion would be a BORE!
Just read “Baltimore Blues” by Laura Lippman, awesome book I’d highly recommend. Other than that I have unfortunately only very little knowledge of Balitmore, but I am looking forward to hear more about your experiences!
Sabrina- I’ll have to look into it! One of my favorite groups, Deer Tick, has a song called “Baltimore Blues” too!
[...] week, I gave you a lame hint that frustrated Maria. The surprise: a message in a bottle necklace! The top looks a little [...]
love the necklace
