Happy Monday! The penultimate week leading to a long holiday weekend (or in my case…a return to the STATES!) is always excruciating for me. A compendium of stressors! There’s always some type of challenge, whether it be (cough cough) writing my thesis or finishing projects for work. This is all complicated by pesky self-questioning of what gifts I should purchase for individuals, or more importantly, fears that I will forget someone.
So, as we embark on this week (and in the name of “you gotta look out for number 1″), here’s a potential treat for yourself. Well, I suppose you could share it, but selfishness is sometimes fun (I shoved a woman so *I* wouldn’t get hit by a motobike today).
JetPens has been a huge Stickers & Donuts supporter for the past couple of years, and has generously offered a $25 gift certificate to JetPens.com for one reader! To enter, describe what you fantasize spending the gift certificate on. Or, write something that will make me laugh. Winner will be chosen by a random number generator. Giveaway ends on December 21st!

I would definitely use it to buy Kokuyo Systemic Refillable Notebook Cover. I have notebooks at home which could definitely use that cover when I’m on the go, going from meeting to meeting. This would be perfect as it’s a clean, simple, and functional cover with a bit of flair from the bi-color design.
I would definitely get myself something from their calligraphy pens. I taught myself basic calligraphy last summer and would love to do more with it — I just haven’t committed to a pen yet.
I suppose I am barred from entering, but I love the graphic!
I like using narrow ruled paper so I would get a few Sakura Pigma Micron pens and Stabilo Point 88 fineliner set for writing and drawing!
I’d have to get myself some colored pens for my new organizer for 2012! If it’s not color-coded, it’s not organized, right? I can’t say for sure which ones though… it will take lots of research!
What’s Homer Simpson’s favorite type of ice cream?
Cookie D’OH.
:)
I would purchase all of my favorite Uni-Ball Signo bit pens that they don’t carry anywhere else.
would love one of the pentel brush pens or the watercolor brush pens sets…oh or maybe some of those inks! ugh everything looks so good!
as for making you laugh:
what kind of health insurance do storm troopers have?
Empire Plan!
its just so nice to see a post from you! happy holidays. and i’d probs buy some fountain pen, but those crazy crayons look amazing even though I’d never use them.
$25 at Jet Pens? Such decisions! The things I covet from their website are worth hundreds combined. I desire the sun-star safety wooden pencil knife, tombow Ippo kids pencils, unibal penmanship writing pencils, E+M Peanpole Wood Pencil Extender, Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto Me 4 Color Multi Pen Body Component along with many colored ink cartridges! Want want want!
I hope I win. The doctors don’t allow me many pointy things to write with.
Today I learnt to spell Hipoptomus incorrectly
The possibilities are endless! I think I would choose a brand new notebook or journal and use it when the new year begins.
As many pens as possible!
Fancy pens are fun.. Makes me feel special.. =)
IF I GET THE PENS I WILL DRAW AND WRITE ALL THE THINGS AND WHEN I WRITE MY FIRST TEXT I WILL SERIOUSLY DEDICATE IT TO TRICIA AND S&D PLEASE CHOOSE ME I AM A NICE BOY
I’d probably spend it on the never ending assortment of pilot Hi Tec C pens that they seem to have!
I’d spend the $25 on peanut butter and gelly, of course! Seriously … Gelly Roll pens have changed the way I think about calligraphy. They’re waterproof, never skip, and come in more flavors than Baskin Robbins ice cream. {Why do I keep relating my answer to food?} Anyway … safe travels. And whether I win or not, enjoy your vacation!
For $25, I would probably add and drop pens and notebooks from my cart about 14 times before I settle on something I had in my cart in the first place.
And then dither some more to make sure that I’ll really be happy with my decision. And take it out of my cart again. And replace it with something else. And decide I don’t really want that. And put the first thing back.
And then end up with a Uni Style Fit Mystar.
anything with multiple colors! calligraphy! the possibilities are endless.
Is it wrong that I just fantasize on having an abundance of Microns!?
I would likely spend it on a couple of Pentel pocket brush pens, they are my “go to” brush pen. Possibly stock up on some refills while I’m at it.
It would be tough to narrow down my wish list. There are just so many great things at JetPens, but I have been coveting a black Kaweco Lilliput with a fine nib for a while now.
I would use the GC to purchase the Lamy Balloon Liquid Ink Roller Ball Pen. It’s been in my wish list for some time.
I would give it to my wife. The combination of her pen excitement and indecisiveness would take her days, maybe even a week, to decide what to buy with it.
During that week alone, the number of trips we wouldn’t have to make to browse the local Office Depots and Staples.. this gift card is like pens + a whole tank of gas!
I’ve just discovered Stickers and Donuts and I have to say, the first two things I saw were: JetPens gift certificate, and a little further down, Poop Pens. And I thought to myself, this is the greatest site I’ve ever seen. Sadly, I have fantasies about most of JetPens’s products. It would be hard to narrow down those fantasies to just one or two but if I really had to, I would have to pick the new Pilot Iroshizuku fountain pen ink in Kosumosu Fall Cherry (Light Pink) because I’m a stereotypical girl who loves pink. Plus, it’s a new and amazing ink that I am dying to get my hands on but can’t because I have no job. Well, now that I have told you my life story (thank you for reading it), I am off to investigate more of Stickers and Donuts (which, by the way, are two of my favorite things ever)! Thank you for the giveaway!
I’m thinking I might get myself a white gel pen should I win. Or yet another pencil bag cause my pens and pencils always get mixed up at the bottom of my bag with my kids crayons.
Hmm… Where should I begin? I would use the certificate toward my Prera fountain pen purchase, and many many more things.
Thank you for the opportunity!
I would probably buy myself a Maruman sketch book, Kuru Toga and maybe, if I am feeling ticklish some 28 cornered erasers.
I’d spend it on new pens for the next semester and some great stationery to match! I’d probably spend most of it on Signo DX black 0.28…haha. :D Happy holidays!!!!!

I’d definitely spend it on some gel pens and some great new notebooks for the new quarter!
