Are donuts the new cupcake? I doughnut know. (I also donut know which spelling to choose!)

You can make donuts the classic way — by frying them after you cut them out of a circular donut cutter, or you can use a pan and bake them. These “donuts” are more like muffins, and there is an unfortunate lack of donut holes. On the bright side, you can still decorate them with sprinkles.
